We’re proud to announce that we’ve been appointed as a supplier to the BlueLight Commercial framework for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This will enable police forces and blue light organisations across England and Wales to access our specialist automation expertise, solutions, and products through a simplified procurement approach.
ArvatoConnect has secured a place on all three lots: RPA Software Licences, RPA Professional Services, and RPA Specialist Resources, with an estimated maximum potential spend value of £76million over the next four years. You can see the full scope of the framework here.
The BlueLight Commercial RPA Framework supports the National RPA Programme, established by the Home Office, which was set up to help police forces with automation capabilities. Appointed suppliers to the RPA framework support the design, development, and implementation of RPA, while also enhancing the internal force capabilities through training, upskilling, and knowledge sharing.
Our extensive digital transformation experience and automation partnerships, including those with Wales Air Ambulance Charity, Neath Port Talbot Council, Dudley Council, Hertfordshire County Council, and global entertainment company Fremantle, demonstrate how smarter, responsive, and inclusive approaches to intelligent automation can improve services, increase productivity, and create new efficiencies.
Our partnership with the Wales Air Ambulance Charity shows how automation and empowering people can go hand-in-hand, even in organisations with limited resources. By digitising their lottery system, we reduced manual processing time by 92%, saving them over £40,000 a year and freeing up their employees to focus on more meaningful work.
Similarly, our work with Hertfordshire County Council shows how automation can reshape service delivery. We’ve helped them automate 87% of their invoice processing, which is 50% faster than when done manually and saving 3200 employee hours each year. This is allowing them to refocus time on analysis and innovation instead.

BlueLight Commercial was established in 2020 by the Home Office to work collaboratively with blue light service members and is the national commercial body for policing. It transforms procurement activity to equip front line services with services which meet operational and safety requirements, from vehicles and uniform to ICT, whilst working with suppliers to enhance innovation and service delivery.
