Arvato implements SAP Fiori to deliver increased user experience for clients

Our Shared Services Centre in Swansea recently rolled out the latest evolution of SAP to support employees delivering services for its central government client, the Department for Transport (DfT), as well as for the Driver & Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA) and Driving Standards Agency (DVSA).

We deliver HR, payroll, finance and procurement services for these clients through our established shared services centre, which is serving 22,500 civil servants across the UK.

Fiori is SAP’s new and modern user interface, which features an intuitive design that makes the most common tasks easy to find and execute. The solution presents a new Fiori homepage/Launchpad, which provides users more freedom to organise and customise their experience.

The solution deployed by Arvato also includes a function that allows client’s employees to input their leave and travel requests and for managers to approve these directly on their mobile devices.

The new system benefits employees by:

  • Increasing productivity with faster and more direct access to relevant information and applications
  • Providing more transparency on items needing attention with timely notifications
  • Helping them decide what needs to be done next
  • Allowing them to take quick and informed actions
  • Increasing their experience and satisfaction
